MHA offers three main programs which serve the needs of our clients with mental illness and substance addiction: BRIDGES, the Alliance House Residential Center and the Alliance House Drop In Center. Additionally, MHA acts as a referral and advocacy source for the community. MHA takes its stewardship seriously as 89 cents of every dollar received directly supports our programs and services.

In 2013 and 2014 our success rate in keeping Alliance House Drop-In Center clients stable and out of the hospital was 99%, saving the Baton Rouge community more than $1,000,000 annually. Last year, 98% of our clients reported their lives have improved by attending the Drop In Center.

In 2014, 56% of our Alliance House Residential Center clients served remained alcohol and drug free and in independent housing six months post discharge. Our success rate dramatically exceeds the national average, in which only 20% of clients discharged from drug and alcohol programs remain drug free 6 months following discharge.

Please help MHA continue to offer these critical programs and services for individuals with mental illness and substance addictions in the Greater Baton Rouge community. Donate today!
